It’s Not a Good Idea for Dogs to Eat Canned Corn

Corn

Regular concern is non-toxic to dogs and may offer numerous health benefits but the same can’t be said for canned corn. One reason canned corn might not be good for dogs is due to the sodium content. Undrained canned corn may contain a decent amount of salt and this could cause slight problems to the dog’s digestive tract.

If you drain the canned corn first before letting your dog eat it then a small amount is unlikely to hurt. Always check the product label before you decide whether the canned corn is safe enough for your dog to eat in moderation. If we had a choice, we would always go with fresh corn instead of the canned ones.
