Celery sticks aren’t toxic for dogs so they can be enjoyed by your pooch in moderation. They, however, may pose a different health threat due to the long, fibrous strands.

It’s important to cut the celery sticks into tiny pieces before you let you dog eat them. Whole celery sticks may end up either being a choking hazard or an obstruction hazard in the dog’s digestive tract. The occasional celery stick could be great for dogs because celery is known for being a rich source of antioxidants and vitamins.
